Talking and listening
Part of the writing program is developing our oral listening and talking. The students had to use their senses to feel something in the mystery bag and then describe it to their group. The group had to ask questions and we then discovered what the object was. The students had to use descriptive language such as bumpy, smooth, rough, hard, soft and smooth. One group loved the activity so much they wrote " guess what I have?" Where they chooses a secret object and had to write three clues about it. We then read our clues to the class to see if they could guess what we had.
