Art - Friendship Dolls

 This afternoon we talked about what a good friend is and how we can be good friends in Room 19. The children said some beautiful things about friendship " that you need to feel loved and safe and a friend always plays with you". After we talked about how we wanted to be treated as a friend we made friendship dolls. The children had to use their fine motor skills to cut up textured paper and fabric and then problem solve with how they would "dress" their friendship doll. We had to draw our faces onto the dolls and talk about how we made our dolls. The dolls are now on display in our class and please come and admire our work.
