Science - Learing about the life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly

In Room 19 we have two swan plants. This afternoon we looked closely at the swan plant, we observed how the caterpillars moved, the size and how many caterpillars were on each swan plant and looked for the tiny black eggs. After examining the swan plants we moved around the room like caterpillars and then learnt what happens next once the caterpillar is really large.... stay tuned as we continue on this learning journey.
