Listening and looking in reading

Today the reading groups all got to try out a different type of a reading warm up. They were each given a container with alphabet beads and had to make the words by listening to what Mrs Turner said. E.g. Look... The child had to listen to the sound and then make the word. Once they had correctly made the word they then had to hunt for it in their reading book.
