We made PIZZA

The Room 19 children are now pizza experts! Today we learnt how to make pizza using a bread maker, we added the five ingredients and waited for the bread maker to do its magic! We added in a little bit of drama too and the children had to make the sound that the bread maker was making when it was kneading the dough, when the breadmaker started to shake during the cycle it was delightful to hear one of the children say " oh its like a mini earthquake inside the breadmaker!"


 It was such a fun experience especially when the dough was very sticky due to the heat which worried Mrs Turner! After adding a little extra flour it was ready to go! The children were very excited to add their own toppings from home and tell their friends what they are having on their pizza.

When the children were rolling out their dough the descriptive language they used was really lovely to listen too - it feels like clouds, it is like a soft mattress, it feels like silky material.
